Gold suits of bullfighters

Matadors, bullfighters and picadores are considered “golden bullfighters” because they can wear suits with golden sequins . The picadores, although they are members of the bullfighter’s gang, maintain this privilege that derives from their maximum prominence at the beginning of the Festival.

Silver suits of light

On the other hand, the banderilleros are called “silver bullfighters”, because due to their rank, inferior to that of their boss, the matador, they cannot wear gold. Sometimes, the banderilleros prefer to wear the embroidery in black, that is, in jet.

The satchel, the vest and the jacket usually have the same color silk.
