The matador costumes or suits of lights are the costumes that the bullfighters wear in the ring, when they face a brave bull during a bullfight.
This second hand matador costume consist of 3 pieces:
- the “taleguilla” or pants with a very high waist, which reaches below the knee
- the jacket, which has a cardboard reinforcement in the inner lining, and usually has many ornaments and tassels
- the vest that goes under the jacket and is usually the same color and embroideries.
